Following its will to actively contribute to help reducing environmental issues at sea, Avitys has joined the Association “La Boudeuse Autour du Monde” to support the vessel and her crew during the world wide ”Terre-Océan” mission that started a few weeks earlier, as part of the French “Grenelle de la Mer” program.

“La Boudeuse” is a 46m Goelette build in 1916 in Holland. She can carry up to 26 crew and has a 6 months autonomy at sea. She has been charged by French Minister of Environmentalism to explore oceans with scientific and public sensibilization goals on environmental issues.
